Education
Nordstern has solid experience in constructing modern and functional educational buildings that create optimal frameworks for learning and development
Teaching Facilities
Our projects include a wide range of educational institutions, from primary schools to adult educational institutions. For example, we have built Campus Horsens, which covers an impressive area of 37,500 m² and houses VIA University College, Innovation House and the SOSU school. A campus area promotes collaboration and innovation across education programs and creates a dynamic environment for students and teachers.
Each project is designed in close collaboration with our advisors, and the process is organized so that the educational vision is taken care of. We are experts in finding the right solutions that support the needs of the individual educational institution in relation to a healthy indoor climate and learning environment. For example, Lindbjerg School, which is designed as a mini-city with three independent multi-storey buildings.
New Requirements for Health, Climate Footprint, and Flexibility
To create educational institutions that support the educational needs of the future, we ally ourselves with internal specialists and external experts. The goal is to create inspiring learning environments, such as the independent sports school Guldminen, where great flexibility has been worked between teaching indoors and outdoors.
Our in-house specialists also actively contribute to making the right choices for ambitious projects, such as the DGNB Gold-certified Håndværkskollegiet in Horsens, which has been carried out with special care in relation to the choice of healthy materials.

„Our goal has always been to get exactly the building that was defined in terms of content, quality level and architectural expression. And Nordstern has delivered that, so we are very satisfied.“
