We create the best possible physical setting to support structured treatment pathways, as demonstrated by AUH Psychiatry in Skejby.
Our projects also include Buddinge Byport in Gladsaxe, a health and employment centre comprising healthcare facilities for rehabilitation and preventive care, as well as a general medical practice and pharmacy.
Nordstern was also responsible for constructing the Social and Health Care College in Horsens, which trains staff for the care and healthcare sectors.
Projects with Complex Installations
Through the delivery of multiple hospital projects, Nordstern has developed expertise in constructing laboratories and research units with complex building services installations.
We have the expertise to construct facilities to different cleanliness classifications and meet the healthcare sector’s stringent cleanliness requirements, particularly for laboratories. Examples include Gødstrup Hospital, where Nordstern constructed a radiochemistry unit, and Forum in Skejby, which forms part of Aarhus University Hospital. The 14-storey building houses a patient hotel, traditional and experimental research units, blood-sampling facilities, a department for functional disorders and a church.
