Research and education centre for hospital in Gødstrup

Nordstern built a unique research and education centre for the new hospital in Gødstrup.

The 5,000-sq m centre includes laboratories, a biobank, meeting rooms and facilities for teaching, lectures, conferences, and offices for researchers and PhD students.

The building has large, open common areas with glass sections in many parts of the building. This supports the development of a cohesive research, education and learning environment in a shared atrium.

The associated laboratories have mandatory purity standards, which were secured in close cooperation with the client and in accordance with DS/EN ISO 14644-1.

In terms of architecture, the building looks contemporary and future-proof with timber-clad façades and large glass sections that allow in natural light.
