ToRVEhallerne Expands: Vejle’s Largest Hotel Takes Shape

ToRVEhallerne in Vejle has undergone a significant development and transformation, with Nordstern playing a central role in the hotel’s expansion.

A total of 87 new hotel rooms are being constructed, and in close collaboration with Select Development, Nordstern is contributing to a substantial increase in hotel capacity. The project has been designed and engineered by Arkitema and Vita Engineers.

With this expansion, the hotel will grow from 74 to a total of 161 rooms, making ToRVEhallerne the largest hotel in Vejle and the surrounding area. The expansion reinforces the hotel’s role as a central multi-purpose venue in the city, combining culture, gastronomy, and business under one roof.

A key element of the project involves the demolition of the existing underground parking garage, which began in May 2024. Construction of the new structure is scheduled to start in October 2024. A new 821 m² parking facility will be built using the existing shaft foundations and retaining wall, supplemented by 143 new shaft foundations. Above the parking structure, a five-storey hotel building will be erected and connected to the existing hotel.

The project is being carried out in a trust-based collaboration, where all parties work closely together on both development and execution. The focus is on delivering high quality and financial transparency – a core part of Nordstern’s approach to project management and partnerships.

The new hotel extension is expected to be handed over to the client in February 2026.
