One six- to seven-storey residential block of 22,500 sq m
Sluseholmen has evolved from an industrial area to a modern canal district featuring different types of housing and services.
Nordstern was responsible for seven projects in Sluseholmen: Lærkeholm, Molehuset, Granholm, Hasselholm, Kastanjeholm N, Kastanjeholm S and Magnolieholm. Nordstern is currently working on one more projects: Elmeholm.
Elmeholm consists of one block of six to seven floors totalling 22,500 sq m. The development will include 229 owner-occupied homes of between 65 and 170 sq m in size. The majority of the homes are three-bedroom apartments of around 80 sq m. All homes have either a private balcony or garden area on the ground floor.
There will be a 5,600-sq m basement under the complex with areas for waste management, technical and storage rooms, bicycle parking and a car park with 100 parking spaces.
Outside, there will be a playground and conservatory for the use of neighbourhood's residents.
The total project at Sluseholmen comprises 1,268 homes and 12 commercial premises. The homes vary in size, making Sluseholmen interesting to different types of family setups.
The project follows DGNB manual 2020 Renovation and new construction. Sluseholmen has undergone a pre-certification and the project is moving towards a final DGNB Gold certification. The pre-certificate is issued in 2022.
