Scandic hotel in Scanport

Nordstern has built Scandic CPH Strandpark, which is located between the Øresund Bridge and Copenhagen Airport.

The hotel has 357 rooms spread over 12 floors. The ground floor houses office and conference facilities, as well as a fitness center with a pool area and sauna. In addition to conference facilities, the second floor is furnished with a production kitchen, restaurant and ballroom with room for 400 people.

On the top floor, guests can enjoy the view of Sundet and Øresund on the hotel's rooftop terrace with sky bar.

The hotel is built in concrete with a shell-brick facade. Part of the facade is clad in aluminium. The building's roof is made of roofing felt and clad in solar cells and sedum planting.

The hotel is part of the Scanport development area at the National Aquarium Denmark on Amager, which is an international business area with an attractive local environment at Scanport Harbour and Amager Strandpark. In the same area, Nordstern has built the office building ‘Glasværket’, which is 4,200 m².

A parking basement has been established under the hotel with space for 175 cars, of which selected parking spaces are designed with electric charging stations.
