Police station with office facilities, reception area and detention centre

Three-storey police station with office facilities, reception area and detention centre with associated functions. The building was constructed for the Central and West Jutland Police, who wanted a building that meets the extensive requirements for personal safety and police equipment.

In the project, many different safety measures were taken into account in structures, materials and interior design.

The structure of the building takes into account functionality, light and contact between citizens and the police. There is optimal indoor climate, while the layout of the police station's office space and windows is flexible, in case the layout needs to change over time. In addition, there is a large dispatch area with better opportunities for discretion than in the old police station. The building is constructed with concrete back walls and is faced with bricks.

The police station was handed over to the Central and West Jutland Police in December 2019.
