Construction of a music, theatre and conference centre

The Odeon music, theatre and conference centre in Odense was built by Nordstern.

Odeon includes a music conservatory and theatre school, which make up 6,500 sq m of the total project. This is a highly complex educational building due to the stricter sound requirements. During the project, future users were involved to help create a purpose-built educational building.

The centrepiece of the building is a 15,500 sq m multi-purpose hall with seating for 1,800 people.

In continuation of the project, a two-level underground car park will be built with 125 parking spaces on the first level and 115 parking spaces on the second level. In addition, there is space for 277 bicycles.

Nordstern was also responsible for the construction management of a 10,000 sq m single-level underground car park with space for 270 cars on Thomas B. Thrigesgade.

The underground car park at Odeon and the underground car park on Thomas B. Thrigesgade are part of a central car park with space for around 1,000 cars. Drivers are intelligently directed to a car park with a total of five entrances and exits.
