Underground parking garage in Herning

Herning+ is a development project located centrally in Herning on the former hospital site. The development project consists of 14 individual building projects covering a total area of 56,000 m², featuring a variety of housing types, including public and private housing, townhouses, high-rises, and associated amenities such as parking spaces, grocery stores, and a café area.

One of the 14 projects is a 2,963 m² single-level underground parking garage with space for 112 cars, 37 of which are equipped with electrical installations for charging stations. The parking garage is located beneath communal shared areas.

The access ramp is equipped with traffic lights to enhance safety during entry and exit, and the parking garage features one-way traffic flow to reduce the risk of collisions.

The parking garage is constructed from prefabricated concrete elements, divided into four sections connected by sliding gates, creating a cohesive and efficient parking solution. Three stairwells have been established as exit routes.
