Head office for the Good Food Group in the 'Exxit 59' business park

Good Food Group's head office is part of the Exxit 59 business park, located on the E45 motorway between Hedensted and Vejle.

The building is built in increasing heights of up to four floors. The head office consists of open-plan offices, creating an open, spacious environment for the employees. The office building has management offices, meeting facilities, a canteen with a refrigeration and freezer rooms, and a commercial kitchen with a food laboratory. The stair-shaped design of the building allows for two roof terraces, which are used as a communal area for the building's users.

The end of the building is furnished with large glass sections, which provide direct access to a newly established courtyard environment.

The building is made of sandwich elements as a load-bearing structure, with facades covered in aluminium sheets. The aluminium cladding is half a meter deep, lending the building an unusual and distinctive architectural expression.

The project was carried out as an open book, which created transparency between Nordstern and partners during the execution of the project.

The planning envisaged flexibility in terms of a possible extension of the head office, should this become necessary in the future.

The building was awarded the 2022 Vejle Prisen, which is awarded to one or more construction projects as recognition for creating inspiration.
