Construction of DGNB Gold certified residential and commercial buildings

Flegmade in Vejle is a development project where two properties have been acquired on the corner of Flegmade and Boulevarden opposite Campus Vejle. Nordstern has constructed 138 DGNB certified rental homes.

Three five to six-storey buildings have been constructed with several different sizes of residential units. The building has brick facing with occasional masonry details and staggered facades.

In addition to the residential units, there is a grocery store and a small commercial lease on the ground floor.

The open spaces are intended for several age groups in the form of play areas and common areas with an orangery.

The project is expecting to be DGNB Gold-certified, utilising measures such as the reuse of wood and carefully selected materials with a lower climate impact and a long lifespan.

The project follows DGNB manual 2016 New buildings and extensive renovations - Housing. Flegmade has undergone a pre-certification and the project is moving towards a final DGNB Gold certification. The pre-certificate is issued on 25.09.2023.
