83 DGNB Gold-certified homes

Nordstern has constructed 83 DGNB Gold-certified homes in Rødovre. Erantishaven is a staircase-shaped building, ascending from the ground floor to the fifth floor. The two to four room flats are intended for mixed age groups and families.

Sustainable measures are top priority and include recycling approximately 1,000 tons of concrete as substrate for the area’s paving. The concrete comes from a previous commercial building that was demolished to create space for the new residents. The recycling of the concrete entails extra coordination and planning of material sorting.

The flats have access to private roof terraces. The remaining square metres of the roof is covered with sedums and solar cells. At ground level, the building is surrounded by green open spaces, creating common areas for the residents.

Erantishaven has a underground car park with space for 83 cars. The underground car park is wider than the building’s skeleton. Above the underground car park there is a café and common areas.

The housing project is located in the centre of Rødovre, 100 metres from the large shopping mall and close to Damhus Lake.

Erantishaven is DGNB Gold certified according to DGNB manual 2016 Apartment buildings and terraced houses. The certification is issued on 05-06-2024.
