Baronessens Kvarter
Large warehouse construction with 12 individual warehouses
Baronessens Kvarter is a large 62,400 sq m logistics centre in Taulov, which meets the demand for storage facilities. The logistic centre has 2,400 sq m office facilities.
Due to the volume of the project, extra coordination and focus on logistics and planning between the parties involved was required.
The building is 620 metres long and 97 metres wide, in which 12 individual warehouses are established, each of which is 5,000 sq m with associated office facilities of 240 sq m. For increased functionality for the user, 115 roll doors are installed. The first floor is established as a mezzanine floor that accommodates additional office facilities. The building has a 620-metre external gallery made of steel on one side of the building.
The building has an internal clearance of 12.5 metres and a facade height of 14.3 metres. In addition, the building consists of 322 modular lines and 648 facade elements.
For technical installations, 34 kilometres of cables are used for the lighting installation. The sprinkler system is established with a diameter of 400 mm.
The construction of the building takes into account future solutions, where green power will be established via 45,000 sq m solar cells.
