463 homes in four residential blocks and a multi-story car park
The project includes the development and construction of a 37,440 sq m housing project with a total of 463 homes in four residential blocks with a multi-storey car park and green areas.
The apartments vary in size from two to five rooms. All homes have either a balcony or a terrace. The buildings will be constructed as conventional concrete-element structures with story separation made of hollow core units, load-bearing transversal concrete-element walls and facades made of sandwich panels. The roofs on the building will have roof houses with a main steel structure.
The housing project is part of the new Kirkebjerg neighbourhood in Brøndby near Copenhagen, which is being converted from an industrial area to an attractive residential area.
Kobber Engen is DGNB Gold certified according to DGNB manual 2016 Renovation and new construction. The certification is issued in 2024.
