Development of a residential area in Odense

Nordstern has developed the Falen residential area in Odense, with 20 identical housing comprising 10 semi-detached houses. Nordstern was selected as the project developer following a municipal tender based on the architecture and the proposed project.

The housing are of one and a half stories with an entrance hall, kitchen-dining room, living room and guest toilet on the ground floor, while on the first floor there are three bedrooms and a bathroom.

The housing have a pitched roof solution and wing tiles as roof cladding. All housing have private terraces with brick cladding.

The car parks are centrally located by the driveway, where they help to create distance between the public road and the housing.

The residential area is located in an older neighbourhood near the centre of Odense, which is reflected in the building style.

To increase biodiversity, the common areas are laid out as wild lawns with flowers, fruit trees, tall grasses and SUDS systems. At the centre of the site is an orangery for use as a communal meeting place for the project's residents.
