Brande Boligforening afd. 2, Mosevænget

Nordstern is renovating 172 public housing units for Brande Boligforening afd. 2, Mosevænget.

The department consists of two former departments that have now been merged. The units were constructed between 1950 and 2003 using different materials and construction methods. As a result, the scope of renovation varies between the individual units.

All 172 units will be renovated to a greater or lesser extent. Some units will undergo full renovation, while others will only have decentralized ventilation systems installed. At the same time, 21 units will undergo selective demolition.

The renovation includes new kitchens and bathrooms as well as technical installations and roofing. Accessible units will also be established in both terraced housing and multi-storey buildings, for which elevators will be installed. In addition, a new building envelope will be established with a new brick facade and insulation.

Some of the units are occupied during the renovation, while other residents are temporarily rehoused while work is carried out in their homes.

The project will be carried out in stages and is expected to be completed in spring 2028.
