Construction of a new 8,314 sq m mixed-use building containing flexible office facilities

Agro Food Park, near Skejby in Aarhus is a business area focusing on entrepreneurship and innovation within food and bioeconomy. The now approx. 1,200 work stations are expanded with an additional 525 office spaces in a new mixed-use building.

The multi-user house will have various sized leases for companies linked to the agricultural and food industry. The building is flexible, as the leases can be divided individually according to the tenants' wishes. The building will also have a production kitchen and canteen.

The multi-user house is the third in Agro Food Park, and the building will be constructed on a sloping terrain facing the Lisbjerg and Skejby area.

The building will have five storeys and a total floor space of just over 8,300 sq m, of which 814 sq m is basement.

The building is pre-certified for DGNB Gold, which is also reflected in the indoor climate and energy consumption. Where possible, sustainable and Danish-sourced materials and solutions have been chosen. The building is supplied with renewable energy from solar cells mounted on most of the roof surface.
The operating organisation is involved early in the process to ensure their participation in the choice of solutions. This is done to make the building operationally efficient and provide a good indoor climate for the users.
