Nordstern upgrades within new construction in Eastern Denmark with new director

Michael Dahlager took up his position as director of New Construction East in Nordstern on 1 June 2023. He has more than 25 years of experience from the construction industry and most recently comes from a position as Project Director at Per Aarsleff A/S. Previously, he has worked many years at NCC as, among other things, Area Director responsible for commercial buildings. It is, therefore, an experienced industry profile who now joins the management team and, together with Nordstern's other director of New Construction East, Claus Møller, will manage an order book of DKK 4.3 billion.

"It has been important to find the right candidate for the position, who will continue Nordstern's growth in Eastern Denmark. Michael has extensive experience from the construction industry and has been responsible for many both large and complex projects with high construction costs. He has proven that he knows his stuff and he will be a strong card for Nordstern," says Torben Modvig, CEO of Nordstern.

Continued growth in the Capital Region

In 2022, 60% of Nordstern's new construction was of private housing and 52% of commercial buildings were based in Eastern Denmark. With the appointment of Michael Dahlager, Nordstern strengthens its continued focus on growth and development opportunities for new construction in the Copenhagen area.

In 2022, Nordstern had a total of 828,000 sq of new construction under construction, divided into 474,000 sq of private housing and 354,000 sq of commercial buildings, including public buildings.
