Nordstern to Complete Housing Project for PFA in Slagelse

The project is already underway, with Nordstern officially taking over construction responsibilities on 13 February 2025.

“At PFA, we are pleased to initiate the continuation of the construction, and we very much look forward to delivering attractive homes for seniors,” says Property Manager Peter Morgan.

The development at Kvægtorvet will provide a modern living environment for seniors, comprising a nursing home with 75 residences, a senior co-housing community with 30 apartments, a community house, and 32 ‘Senior Housing Plus’ apartments.

Nordstern has been appointed by PFA to complete the build, with all three blocks currently at various stages of construction.

This project will not only bring contemporary housing to Slagelse, but also enrich the local community by creating a setting that fosters quality of life and social cohesion for seniors with and without care needs. It stands as a positive example of how new housing developments can support broader urban development goals.

Project Details:

Block 1: Includes a nursing home of approximately 6,500 m² and around 825 m² of ‘Senior Housing Plus’ apartments on the rooftop, totalling nine residences.

Block 3: Comprises 1,789 m² of ‘Senior Housing Plus’ housing, divided into 23 apartments.

Block 7: Consists of 2,480 m² of senior co-housing, divided into 30 apartments and a shared community house.
