Nordstern hires Group Director for Construction

Johnny Hey will take up his position as CCO of Nordstern on 8 January 2024. Johnny will be part of the Executive Board, which also consists of Torben Modvig, CEO, Jan Aarestrup, CFO and Michael Storgaard, COO.

For the past six years, Johnny Hey has been at the head of Bravida Denmark as CEO, where he has created stable growth on all fronts. At Nordstern, Johnny's task will also be to contribute to the company's growth through its construction activities.

"Construction is obviously the largest business area for Nordstern, so it has been important for us to find a profile that has both the necessary experience and the right management skills. At Bravida, Johnny has proven that he has what it takes, and we look forward to welcoming him to Nordstern in the new year," says Torben Modvig, CEO of Nordstern.

Currently, Nordstern has four new-build divisions and two renovation divisions distributed in Eastern and Western Denmark. All six divisions will be brought together under the new CCO, as well as the support functions Sales and Purchasing. Johnny Hey will thus work from both the office in Aarhus and Søborg.

I will contribute with my experience within growth and management and at the same time look forward to challenging myself in a different company and role than I have had for many years", says CCO Johnny Hey.

In 2022, Nordstern generated revenue of DKK 6.1 billion and had a total of 828,000 m2 of new construction under construction and 311,000 m2 under renovation.
